My husband and I holidayed in County Mayo very recently and needed to get to the Belmullet area from Knock Airport. We considered hiring a car but were so very pleased to discover the fantastic service being offered by Ireland West Taxis. Damien the owner answered our emails promptly and efficiently which gave us much confidence. We were delighted to be met at Knock Airport by our driver PJ who drove us to our destination. On our return journey Damien was ready and waiting for us when we arrived at the pick up point. The service was simply excellent and we would have no hesitation in recommending Damien and his company.

This company is amazing my father was travailing from London and we arranged for a great and meet at Ireland knock airport on the day of departing he found out his flight had been cancelled due to a coming storm and he had to travel to Dublin and Ireland west taxis and tours actually contacted my father and told him what he can do to make sure he gets to where he needs to go even gave him directions to a local bus firm we eventually got my father to knock airport at 3am in the morning may I add !!! and he was greeted by a wonderful man who was on the other end of the phone every second my father needed him during his time away the customer service of this company is unbelievable I could not recommend them more they are amazing !!!! My dad will defiantly be returning again and be using this company every-time you will never find another company who care about there clients more the amount of effort and time they spent calling us in London to help us with our trip they helped us with things that wasn’t even there problem seriously I was so surprised I thought it was to good to be true  

And to top it of there pricing !!!! Is amazing so cheap for the quality of service they provide

Me & my friend booked an airport return from Knock to Ballina. Drivers extremely punctual. Both drivers were really friendly and was giving us information on the local area and really good recommendations on where to eat/drink. As we had extra time before our flight, the driver who returned us to the airport went out of his way to take us to JJ Finans in Charlestown to visit and we had a pint of Guinness. Unreal experience as I'm a big Liam Gallagher fan. Memories we will not forget. I would not hesitate to use again.

A very pleasent trip, an exellent and very reliable service.   We were able to get bookings at short notice.
Would definitley use them again and highly recommed them.
Damien Scally took all the stress out of our travelling experience.  We had family members traveling on different dates but Damien was at the arrivals to recieve everytime.

Our 2nd time with Damien and  once again it was top draw, on time waiting for us at both ends of the journey and great banter too. It’s so much easier to get a transfer and take all the hassle out and I would recommend Damien every time. And the big bonus is that it’s good value too. We booked a bus for 20 from Knock airport and return. The price was very good and Damien was easy to contact and very accommodating. 

Sean, the driver, was pleasant, chatty and happy to drop-off as we instructed.

Have booked a few times for a family member to travel to and from the airport. Really pleased with the reliability, professionalism and ease of booking, but also the drivers have the warmth and friendliness that is characteristic of the west of Ireland. Would recommend and will continue to use

Great service , prices and craic! We were a party of 5 - mum, dad and 3 grown up children, celebrating a 60th birthday. We flew into Knock and were staying in Westport, with a day trip to Clare Island (big Saw Doctor fans!)
We used Ireland West Taxis for our transfers to and from the airport and also for our day trip to Clare Island and their service was outstanding and reasonably priced.
We had an issue at the airport when we landed which meant we were almost 40 minutes late in getting through border control, but our driver was standing waiting for us with a smile on his face and a warm welcome He gave us some great restaurant and bar tips for our stay and some local news. The cars arrived on time and all our drivers were lovely.
Both Westport and Clare Island are definitely worth a visit too! We had a wonderful family holiday.

We arrived at knock airport on Friday 2nd October late and the driver was waiting for us to take us to the hotel.
The same driver picked us up for the return journey on Monday 5th October and arrived before the pick up time ready for us.
On both occasions we had a very attentive knowledgeable and safe driver and picked up in a comfortable and very clean vehicle.
I would recommend this company 100% to anyone wanting transport in this area for their excellent service.

We visited Ireland from the US, and had the pleasure of being driven by both Damien and Kevin over 5 days. Everything was perfect. They were flexible, helpful, and most importantly: safe drivers.

There were two babies in our group, and both drivers were quick to play nursery rhymes, help install car seats, and patient with the constant shrieking of “SHEEEEEEEP!!!”

The cherry on top was their knowledge of Ireland and eagerness to help us make the most of our trip. Cool, kind fellas. Thank you both.

Absolutely fantastic - we couldn’t recommend them more highly! We booked a return trip between Knock Airport and Westport and had such a great experience.
On the way to Westport, Kevin was an absolute star - such great company that we genuinely couldn’t stop laughing! His recommendations for places to eat were spot on too – we tried them and absolutely loved them!

Great, reliable company, and our driver Doug couldn't be more perfect. Great, reliable company, and our driver Doug couldn't be more perfect - flexible, knowledgeable, funny, personable, attentive - passionate about his job and it shows - highly recommend him to everyone - we were with him for 4 long drives over a week, he was one of the best of many great aspects of our trip, now consider him a life-long friend. Great Service As regular visitors, we always use Damien.
Never had any problems with this company. Drivers are always on time and courteous. Cars are always spotless. Even when flights are delayed the drivers are always informed and there to greet you . I can’t recommend these guys highly enough. 5 star service from a 5 star company.
